We're All In This Together!
Community and Charity
It takes a vault to raise a wastelander!
There has always been a pretty amazing community among Fallout fans and this was evident time and time again after the release of Fallout 76.
Seasoned players in the community would set up camps among the streets leading to the first objective for new vault dwellers to visit and receive gifts from. Or they would be found waiting outside Vault 76's door itself to hand off supplies, armor and weapons to new players too. The giving and charitable nature of Fallout players was quickly well heard of.
It wasn't just in-game that this amazing sense of community and charity was seen though. Groups small and large would start to form online throughout Twitter, Discord and other social media platforms.
Among them is Fallout For Hope, a successful charity that has formed to spread that generosity from the Fallout community into the real world.
You too can get envolved!

Mid-Atlantic German Shepherd Rescue

Courage was an owner surrendered dog early in his life and a MAGSR rescue who was taken home by DomQuantum on June 4th, 2016. As his original birthday was unknown, this became his new one in his new fur-ever home.

He and Courage became inseparable and everyone that met Courage instantly fell in love with the amazing character he was. Their bond was strong and it was only natural that Courage became a part of many of DomQuantum's content adventures.

And yet, the years flew by and Courage grew old quickly as dogs do, leaving behind a void that will be felt for ages. There isn't a day that goes by that he isn't missed. We all miss you greatly, rest in peace my good boy.

Rescued June 4th, 2016 - Passed February 20th, 2023
Estimated Age - 12.5

MAGSR mission statement:
MAGSR is dedicated to rehabilitating and providing a second chance to German shepherds and shepherd mixes that have been abandoned, abused, lost, strayed, or surrendered.
Through our community outreach events around the Mid-Atlantic region, we teach and encourage responsible pet ownership and pet population control. Our all-volunteer organization works diligently to locate loving and responsible owners who wish to make their new dog(s) members of their family -- forever. MAGSR remains committed to helping end the needless overpopulation, death, abuse, and neglect of dogs in our area and in improving the lives of the dogs as well as their new owners.

Rescuing Courage was one of the best decisions ever made. Dogs are absolutely amazing animals but German Shepherds are one of those breeds that just seem to be so much more, but that's my opinion. There are many German Shepherd Dogs that still need help either with finding new families that will love them or just extra care through MAGSR. Whether you're looking to add a new family member or can spare a small donation, please consider Mid-Atlantic German Shepherd Rescue.
Courage will smile down upon you.
